I thought ‘The Wedge’ looked low budget

This is an post from the olden days – read more about them here.

There is a slight chance you have watched the Channel Ten show "The Wedge" – if you haven’t don’t bother making a special effort, it’s not that funny.

A month or two ago at uni in the foyer of the BA building (at Swinburne Uni in Hawthorn) there was a small group of people with film equipment making some kind of show or movie. I just assumed it was some student film, as it all looked really low budget.

I was watching"The Wedge"last night and noticed something in the sketch set in the airport.

The show’s location and the uni foyer are one and the same! They must be seriously low budget, they didn’t even block off the area to film the show. I would have got a shot of the foyer to show you, but I’m not at uni at the moment.

So there you go, another useless factoid for you.
