Another useless next train display from V/Line

The other month I was in Riddells Creek, so I stopped into the local railway station to snap a photo of the next train to pass through. While I was waiting, I stumbled upon a rather useless next train display.

A few weeks ago I made my way north to Brisbane, where I caught plenty of trains. However it was the next train display boards at the main entrance to Roma Street Station that caught my eye – they were colour coded.

Footscray’s useless next train displays

Passengers at the newly expanded Footscray station has a problem – useless next train displays on the main concourses. With six platforms now in use, only the next four departures are listed.

Last week another part of the Regional Rail Link project opened to passengers – the pair of V/Line-only tracks between Southern Cross Station and Sunshine. Along with these tracks are two new platforms at Footscray station, which were provided with a new style of next train display screen. Can you spot the errors?
